The property was very clean, staff courteous and friendly. The entertainment crew a lot of fun especially the pool party and Neon party on Fridays. The specialty restaurants Italian and Asian were very good but the buffets although alot of variety were kind of hit and miss, the steak was very tough but the smoked porkchop and fish very good. The beds were comfortable but pillows were not. Overall, I would return. Beach very clean, water crystal clear and warm.

Great fun place to stay with or without kids. They had so many fun activities for kids with staff that actually enjoyed being there. We had no issues with our stay. Everyone was so friendly and willing to assist you with anything you needed.

The food was monotonous. There was not always salmon and tuna fish, but every day there was swai fish the cheapest stuff. Тhe beach was pretty spacious and clean.

Experience was amazing, staff very helpful and servicial. A/C need be cool at room feel fresh at night. Breakfast buffet very nice and complete but need to ensure that kitchen team follow more often hand wash process and use disposable glove over ready to eat food.

Overall, this was a great stay. The property was very busy but well-kept. Edwin was the guy who pushed the drink cart around the pool, and by the second day we didn't have to say a word. The minute he saw us, he knew exactly what drink we wanted and brought it to wherever we were. He was our favorite of the entire trip! Food was great, lots of options.

My stay at Riu Yucatan was very very bad. I have previously visited other Riu properties and this was the worst vacation. To start off, the rooms at the resort were very hot, the AC was not working in many of them. The room also smelled like sewage and they still refused to change us, they made us sleep in those conditions until we were changed. When we went to the lobby to ask if we could be changed, they refused until the day before we left and we were there from Tuesday to Sunday, when we asked if it could be fixed they said it couldn't. When we were at the lobby we heard a lot of people complaining about the AC in their rooms as well. Another thing was no towels were left in our room after it was cleaned, we called the lobby to ask if someone could take some and they took hours, we didn't get our towels till midnight. We did call various times and no one would answer. The customer service was also terrible, we got turned away from the Italian restaurant at the resort because there wasn't tables for 6 people and the worker was very rude and disrespectful to my family, compared to the other family that was there. Keep in mind the restaurant was EMPTY, they had enough tables to sit a family of 6. Terrible hotel, I would not recommend staying here.

If I could give this resort 0 stars, I would. Terrible customer service. The rooms were hot, the managers at the restaurants, specifically, the Italian restaurant was very rude and disrespectful. I would not recommend staying at this property.
