The evening entertainment was poor. Restaurant staff is crabby. Reserved a room with 2 queens and got a King - we needed 2 queens thats why we reserved that! Didnt have one so we had to change rooms the next day. Disappointing

The food was excellent! The staff were amazing very kind. The beaches were so clean and overall an amazing spot to get away with family. There also was very cute animals like the Mexican racoon being one Can't wait to come back again 😀

RIU Yucatán is located in a private , gated community. It is all inclusive with a buffet, and several specialty restaurants including Mexican , Italian and Steak House. It is a beautiful resort that is meticulously maintained. It's beach is one of the best I've ever visited. Daily entertainment. Staff is friendly and attentive. Rooms have programable safes. You have exchange privileges with 3 other RIU properties near by. Small shopping area with in walking distance.

Great pools, beach, staff, food, drinks! Safe area. We weren't thrilled with the entertainment choices in the evening, but did like the Mariachi band and the entertainment around the pool! The Mayan dancers were great!

I would never recommend this resort. It was beautiful and the staff were all so friendly. However, we didnt have air conditioning for 4 days and kept being told it was working when it wasnt. We were not served at the lobby bar during dinner hour because we were in swimsuits. We were never told this. We didnt get any information on the resort except a map and a very quick explanation. The buffet was just horrible food, so we never was able to get breakfast. Only ate at the specialty restaurants which were delicious with amazing service. The shower did not drain properly so we were always standing in our dirty water. The bathroom had no fan in it or deodorizer for when you had to go #2. We had to request multiple times for more water before we actually received more bottled water. We did like the entertainment each night along with the ability to have a quite place to hang by the pool, that was really nice. Again, all the staff were very friendly.

The Riu Yucatán staff were so friendly and accommodating. The grounds are very clean and the food selections were perfect. Outside bartenders were awesome! Great job Riu Yuca!!!!
