Unexplained charges on our credit card

The rooms and public areas were well decorated and clean. My complaint is with the very confusing billing: Various charges appeared on our credit card during our 3-day stay with no explanation except for the words "Doubletree Hilton." When I asked at guest services desk, there was no explanation for the charges, and was told that when the computers reset overnight, the charges would be deleted. Finally, after our checkout, the charges did come off. But why did they appear in the first place? The unexplained charges were very disturbing and left us with a unpleasant feeling about our stay at Doubletree Hilton Pleasanton. I won't stay at that brand of hotel again.

Parking was easily accessible and complimentary. The beds were not as comfortable as I was hoping. Mattresses were worn and you felt like you sunk into the bed. Overall the property was clean and the staff was friendly. Housekeeping was attentive and hospitable.

Check in guy was blah. Charged me in addition to already being charged by expedia. Then said he didnt even though i showed him the charge kn my statement. We were placed on the 2nd floor. You exit the elevator and are blasted with heat, no ac whatsoever on the floor itself. Get into the room its just as hot. Turn on ac which is completely covered by curtains. Then it kept turning off and our tv wouldnt work. After many attenpts to get through to front desk she said our check in wasnt complete which is why ac and tv werent working. Bartender was nice and food was decent. Jacuzzi dirty, pool looked clean.
