Clean and convenient with good parking walkable to town

We enjoyed our one night stay at Balthazar Hotel and Spa - Rennes. We were able to walk around the city from its central location. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was very big compared to other European bathrooms we have encountered. We would stay here again.

Très bien situé pour profiter du centre historique. Bon petit déjeuner.

It’s a really nice location, peaceful and green. We enjoyed our stay and use of the amenities. We were surprised when we arrived that the use of the spa was not free, other amenities listed on Expedia often say ‘for a fee’ where there are additional charges to pay, would suggest this as an amendment to the page. The spa (access for one hour) costs 64€ for two people. The amenities in the spa, for one hour only, are not worth the cost in our opinion. Otherwise, breakfast was nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Fun, quirky hotel. Grounds are well kept, with many interesting art installations. Check restaurant opening times before booking. We were disappointed that the main restaurant was closed during our stay.

It is a lovely hotel that offers nearby apartments. It is very close to the town centre. I really enjoyed my staying.

Fun hotel with artistic and creative themes. Good for children as well. In-house breakfast and dinner options at a family-style table did not disappoint.
