Staff are very pleasant, clean room and location convenient to lakes. Shame no kettle in room, no door to shower. Also for payment on arrival it is not clearly specified on Expedia that they do not take CARD, it just says property takes cash.

Well-apointed room with a comfortable bed. Attentive staff. Great selection of food for breakfast. In close proximity to the Plitvice Lakes park (closer to Entrance 2). Really enjoyed our stay, and we'll definitely book it again when we return to the area.

Very nice accommodation to go to Lake and national Park. It’s about two minutes drive. Rooms are comfortable and unique. Stafford friendly. Plenty of free parking.

Fabulous family lodge

Incredibly nice family with above and beyond service. We were stuck just up the road after dinner with no car and no taxis or Ubers to be found due to it being just the start of off-season. A taxi was no issue the next morning, but word to the wise, even for a single overnight - get a car. One of the daughters very kindly left dinner service to pick us up and we so appreciated it! Wouldn’t accept a tip or anything. Incredibly kind and welcoming family. You won’t regret giving them your business!

We loved the location and the amenities. The restaurant was very good for dinner both nights and the breakfasts too. The bed linens weren't very comfortable, the top sheet didn't seem to fit correctly... and almost seemed like a damask tablecloth?!? The showers are a watery mess and could be improved by shower curtains so the water doesn't go all over the floor. The people are friendly, location is very clean and the food so good. Worth staying.

Great family operated lodge. We sprung for the deluxe room for $20 more and it had an electric massage reclining chair. So nice after mikes of hiking in the park. Great location. Excellent restaurant which is a must in this area.

The whole place is great along with the quality of bedding and towels. I loved the lounge chair. Great deal for breakfast and definitely recommend for 10E. The only negative is we forgot or were not told it was cash for payment. We managed to just have enough but were lucky. I would just remind people that payment is cash. My only regret is that we didn’t stay 2 night. Thank you

We stayed here for 2 nights to visit Plitvice Lakes National Park. It was about a 5 minute drive to the parking area of the park. The staff was excellent and the rooms were modern and very clean. They helped us with the best way to visit the park and what to do there. Their food was very good, and there were 3 or 4 other restaurants within walking distance. We would highly recommend this Hotel.

Rustic Lodge was lovely! Beautiful accommodations, very clean, wonderful family runs it. They were super helpful and its very close (walkable - if you get off the main road) to the park. Nice breakfast and great having the option to eat in or have a drink on the patio or porch. Highly recommend!!
