Booked 2 rooms for the family. Rooms were very good, spacious, clean, comfortable beds and good bathroom. Ideal situation for visiting Derriford Hospital. The restaurant was disappointing, it was understaffed and the Vegetarian choice was limited. Breakfast on our final day was poor, most of the dishes had run out and weren’t replenished. One girl was working really hard, but again understaffed. It certainly wasn’t value for money. No beans, no mushrooms, no hash browns, no fruit! For vegetarians it was poor. A shame, because the hotel itself was good.

Great welcome, friendly staff , clean room, food alright. In a future from the 70's and delivered in 80's style the hotel feels in a bit time warp . But for a 2 day business trip it was fine. The bed wasn't the most comfortable and the air con was pretty loud. Again, the staff were great at every interaction, thanks to them.

This was our third stay at this hotel and it didnt disappoint. The room was spotless, plenty of towels, tea coffee and milk. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

We normally can’t fault staying here, however, this time our tv wasn’t working and unfortunately rather than try to sort it out the staff just told us they’d add it to the maintenance check list for the day we checked out. Not helpful when you want to relax in bed watching tv once the children have gone to sleep. Shame as also then couldn’t find email to let anyone different to the staff in the hotel who didn’t help in the first place. Shame as really normally rate well otherwise.

Dreadful

The stuff are probably the most incompetent people I have ever met in the world. They are not polite, almost rude. We were booked in at the hotel and wanted to go into the restaurant and they couldn't accommodate us for about 45 minutes. There was no one in there. There is no staff at the bar. The bar stuff are completely useless. Takes about 30 minutes to get served and there's only five people at the bar. Never again, absolutely awful.

Decent parking at the front of the hotel. 100m from M&S food, Costa and starbucks. The room was large and comfortable. Was surprised that they only had one dressing gown in a room for two, they were happy to provide another at reception if you go down.
