A Big Headache!

This was an upgrade. There was nothing special about this room. There was a horrible smell which couldn’t be pinpointed, but immediately gave us a headache and sinus problem. This hotel is not eco friendly! The carpets need to be replaced and filters changed before more people become sick. Would never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone!

I paid for 2 studio suite rooms and they gave me a double room. They told me that if I made the reservation directly with the hotel I would have the room I requested, but I did it with Expedia and it wasn't guaranteed. Would I have the same room I paid for because it's written like that... and I didn't read that anywhere... that if I didn't want it they would cancel the reservation. Terrible service...

Staff were helpful. Property looks a bit tired - hook fell out of the wall when I put my towel on it. It says pets welcome but although there is a notice for a designated pet area, there wasn’t one. I asked and the receptionist thought it might be the rubbish-strewn wasteland nearby, another thought it might be a small almost vertical slope by the property. No where really to walk the dog.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very attentive and nice. The chemicals used to clean the rooms was very strong and we had to switch rooms. But overall, a good experience.
