Ok place to stay

The room was ready on time. First room they put us in smelled of old smoke. We asked for a different and were given on down the hall, much better smelling. The rooms are dated and need an update. The bed was comfortable, pillows are soso. We did not eat at the restaurant down stairs. There is a wash room and we did do our laundry. The cost was reasonable and the front desk had rolls of quarters available for purchase. The elevator near the laundry was not working more than it was working. It would literally tell you, as you exited, that it was experiencinginor difficulties and to not use it. Front desk personal were very accommodating and friendly. The hotel is conveniently located to the area. Did notice a lot of work trucks and tractor trailers parked over night. I don't like indoor pools so we did not go swimming.

Terrible hotel

Dirty bathroom, torn curtains and overcharge for a terrible hotel the sink faucet was hard to turn and the water went down the drain very slowly. Antiquated amenities. Ugh!! Old dirty carpets, kids running making noises all hrs. Overall we got rolled. Never again. You’ve ruined the whyndam name.

We had a minor crisis Annd appreciated management provided extended check out time. Overall staff were available and assisted us with all needs. Cleaning staff were very diligent abd thorough.indoor Pool was sizable was luke warm not hot but clean. Small pleasant outside seating area . Room very pleasant bed very comfortable.

Property was clean, easily accessible, comfortable. The interior was very quiet. Lots of kids stay but pool closed at 10pm so after that no more running around in the halls. The people at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. The only negatives were that there seemed to be a constant police presence. Also, the noise from Rt 37 can be tough with motorcycles and trucks stopping at the light then racing off. This was muted by the AC, and calmed down after midnight. If you are staying here, try and get on the side opposite the highway.

The hotel is obviously old. The rm we stayed in (2nd floor) totally needs renovation. The carpet, the curtains and specially the bathroom and the toilet itself. It makes a lot of noise everytime you flash it and it will stay for hours. It takes 3x to press the botton of the elevator before it will close and it is stinky inside.
