Clean room, but disappointed that check in was at 4 pm and check out at 10 am. It is not enough time actually in your room for the price

The room was very nicely decorated, appreciated the retro theme. It was a little small for two people and a dog but overall, very nice.

Very cute

Very cute. The room smelled clean and fresh paint. We didn't realize the heated pool was still open, we would have brought our suits. We would stay again.

Very cute and updated. Clean. Microwave, coffee and fridge cute and helpful. Pool was clean and nice. Lots of furniture around it. Volleyball. Campfire pit. Only negatives were parking was a bit tight confusing. Also, check out was 10:00 A.M. which is a a bit early. Usually 11:00 most other hotels.

Wonderful stay

Highly recommend this motel. One of the best we have ever stayed in. It is immaculately clean and well furnished. Close to the beach with easy access.

Cute place, rooms were nice, area was quiet. Had a trail to the beach. Parking was a bit tight. Shower was pretty small for a larger person.

We had a great stay at Sun and Sand Resort. The proximity of the beach was great. It was just far enough away from town to be quiet, yet close enough to drive into town to walk around. We would stay here again.

Very nice remodel

This is one of the old timey motels that has been revamped and it's the best one I've been to. The owners have done a nice job with the rooms - at least the one I was in. Very nice design, nice layout, comfortable bed with quality linens - bed and bath - which is not always the case for any line of lodging, great appliances and supplies. A bit over a mile from Port Austin proper. Great place to explore from.
