Bad experience at Clinton inn
It was a terrible experience, we were supposed to get a lake veiw but we got a balcony instead. We were told it would cost us another $390. to get this room. The room we got had a terrible wet dog smell. We are handicapped and had to walk up to the 2nd floor, they did not have an elevator. The continental breakfast had no protein, it was all carbs.

Front desk personnel were very nice, room was small, ants in the bathroom. Mattress had stains on it. Breakfast was pretty good. View out back of the lake was beautiful. Other than that it was worth the stay.

The parking lot needed alot of help.. the outside should be painted white.. the large sign needs replaced and needs to be bright to attract more people.. we had a wonderful time..

The property is nice, small things needed updating, but for an overnight place to crash by the lakeshore, it was great. I had a balcony with a table and chair, and the lakeshore was just steps away with a nice pool. Will stay there again on my next short trip out that way.

Our room was very old and dated. Very difficult to close the door. The pillows were very small and soft. With that said they took excellent care of the outside of the hotel. Several people keeping the grounds, clean and tidy. The views from the back or amazing! Service at the front desk was excellent!

Our stay was great! From the time we got here until we left the hospitality was amazing! Our room was clean and big! (Plenty of room to move around!) Beautiful view of Lake Erie and the pool was nice! Over all when we are in the area we will be back!

Steps were hard for me as I am 82 yrs old and we were on 2nd floor. Wish they had elevator. Breakfast was good.

The weather was amazing very hot as expected. The view where the pool is was amazing. Been able to sit out there at night and view Lake Erie was the best part.

overnight getaway
The staff is great! No problems check in. Some of the things are a little outdated or showing everyday wear and tear but overall, for a quick getaway it was great. The view in the back is very relaxing.

The common areas are dirty and dated. There are 2 floors but no elevator to bring in the luggage. The towels are so thin I might as well have used paper towels. The hot water was nearly impossible to get. The water handle only gave warm water in one spot and it gave cold spurts. The bedding was very thin and worn also. The complimentary breakfast was very sparse. The hallway noise sounded like it was in our room. This Inn is extremely overpriced! I do not recommend.
