Toilet wasn’t clean when we got there but they stamped the the toilet paper and didn’t clean the bowl ,sheets had black stains on them we were there for 3 days and cleaners never came once to change sheets or bring new towels. Pretty disappointing.

It was lovely to be able to stay in a property that was fully self contained AND had the convenience of on site pools. The two burner cook top was a little tight. The single drawer dishwasher ended up being the perfect size to be able to do a daily wash.

Location was great, swim out room was amazing with the kids who were able to jump in and out all day. Room was super neat and tidy, great size to accomodate a family of 5 very comfortably. Staff were ever so helpful and friendly - we will definitely be coming back! Thanks Silkari Lagoons for such an awesome stay!

The apartments are good for families. The parking can be difficult in busy periods and if you have a spa be prepared that you will use all your hot water filling the spa and there will not be any hot water for showers for a few hours after. This can be a problem with larger families. Also the staff were/are unaware of the issues. By and large a pleasant stay.

Room for everyone especially if you have a large family, has the potential but very dated and in need of improvements. Rooms didn’t feel or look clean because everything was old, towels were tiny and had holes, sheets had marks/stains, beds not comfortable, limited facilities on the property. Staff were wonderful and very informative and did the best they could

We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit. The layout was perfect for us as we were travelling with my parents and 2 kids. My parents had their own room which could be sectioned off from the main area. The swim out lagoon pool was very popular with the kids. They enjoyed a morning and evening swim. Even though the pool wasn't heated, the weather was warm so this didn't matter. The unit was outdated and the kitchen did not have a full cooktop. The utensils were quite limited so it was difficult to cook pasta for our family. Also there is a fee to refresh towels and get additional tea and coffee. Silkari Lagoons is located about 5 kms from Port Douglas centre so we needed a car to drive to the local Coles and shops.
