The place is eclectic and beautifully appointed. There are a lot of stairs, so be prepared. We really loved our night there and wish we stayed longer.

Charming Victorian-style hotel on main street, close to restaurants, coffee shops and gift shops. Short walk from the marina for our whale watching tour. Friendly and helpful staff.

Interesting motif with well appointed room. Only drawback was staying on the top floor and carrying luggage up two flights of stairs as well as going up and down them each time without an elevator. Centrally located to many restaurants and interesting stores.

Red Lion staff are friendly and helpful. The property is on the old side, but has been updated enough that it is very comfortable. The location is wonderful as it's right on the water and 1-2 blocks from the downtown coffee shops and restaurants.

It’s Authentic. Historical building with 20’ ceilings and lots of natural light. Some suites have kitchens. Parking is close by and conveniently located in the downtown district. We love Port Townsend and The Palace is the place to stay.

Great decor and nice people!

This hotel is so fun! The decor is amazing (if you like the vintage aesthetic) and the woman at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. You can tell that the people who work there actually care about your stay; the toiletries and coffee bar were stocked with good options, the rooms are designed to relax and enjoy your time in, plus all the cute communal areas with vintage furniture, books, and even a chess board. This hotel alone made us want to come back to Port Townsend, and I wish we could have stayed for more than one night!
