I went in the past for 3 or 4 times was always coffee in the reception area but not this time from 2 pm to midnight nobody take care of that also the pool needs more maintenance to make the water clear and somebody restocking towels. Needs more personal like in the past!!

Hotel was not kept up well. Multiple areas in the room showed damage. Had to rehook up the flusher in the toilet tank multiple times. Body wash dispenser was broken off wall. Breakfast didn’t look appetizing so we ate out instead. Pool was decent though there were no towels so we had to take some from the fitness room. Beds were generally comfortable and location was good for our needs.

This has been our go-to hotel for our annual family trip to the dunes, Country Inn always has a good breakfast. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are always clean with a refrigerator and microwave.

The staff at check in were not the most welcoming. My family was not provided times for breakfast, the dining room location, or any information on WiFi or other amenities. Breakfast was lack luster with staff failing to restock empty food containers when 30 minutes remained of breakfast and more guests were coming to eat. Furthermore, my husband consumed expired and curdled milk that nearly made him vomit in the dining room. He did not make a scene and made the property’s staff aware in the event other milk products were bad. The staff failed to apologize, did not remotely appear concerned and simply said, “Ok”. While I was happy to pay the stay price for safety near the dunes, I found this property very lack luster and will seek alternative stay options if my family is ever in the area again. The hospitality just wasn’t there. (**side note. The front desk ladies in the morning were very cordial and kind. I felt welcomed from them and appreciated their energy)

I booked an upgrade room with a king bed, a divider with a couch and chair on the other side of the divider. That is what I paid for. I got a basic room which is not even offered on the Expedia site. When I raised this with the desk clerk at the Country Inn, he said that I got exactly what Expedia transmitted to them and there was nothing he could do about it. To add injury to insult, we stayed there four nights and was promised housekeeping every three days. We never got it. I had to empty my own trash cans.

Needs some attention

Just okay. Seems like they need some TLC here. A lot out of service or broken during our visit, including the ice machine on our floor (2nd), juice machine in the breakfast area and a side exit door…which seemed like a fire code issue in my opinion (we weren’t permitted to use it.) Breakfast was not well stocked and handles to ladles and cloche’s were crusty and filthy. There was mold forming inside our AC unit. Fire alarm test alarm occurred in guest rooms at 8am.
