Not Family Friendly

Not a family friendly place. Hotel hot tub full of grown men blasting music and drinking until over an after the pool area was supposed to close. Just when we thought things were quieting down, the room next to us started blasting music along with loud “moaning” and yelling “oh @&$!” from midnight until 4:30am. Lots of shady characters hanging around in the parking lot at night too. I should have read other reviews first. Writing this on 2 hrs of sleep!

Last min trip to the Dunes, friendly and easy parking and checkin. You know the hotel is clean, due to powerful cleaner smell in lobby, elevator and hallways. Room air-conditioning made a loud noise all night(sounded like bearings in motor). Other than that, nice clean place to stop for the night. I would return, and recommend.

It was, ok.

It was, ok. Definitely paid more than what you get considering Labor Day holiday. Our room was on the 3rd floor. Immediately getting off the elevator we could smell odor of weed. Musty smell all over. The ceiling intake air vent had lots of water spot around it and there are present of MOLD. YES, MOLD. Musty and old carpet. At least the room we stayed in appears to be clean. No issue in the room. No odor that stood out. Breakfast was pretty mediocre. Dining room was a little small. Gets quite crowded quickly. Minimum selection. Waffle maker, Eggs, sausage, toast, begal, yogurts, apple sauce, cereals. 1 kind of fruit, apple. Typical coffee and juice. For the price, meh. Would we stay away? Probably will pass next time we are in the area. Will try other place. Staff was helpful and accommodating, friendly. The building just needs better update. Not mask over but proper updates.
