Lovely stay

Perfect location between the beach and the town. Spotlessly clean. Room had everything you needed, fridge, full sized iron and ironing board and excellent hairdryer. Hotel provided excellent food and drink offerings and Alvor had some excellent restaurants, best ones needed a booking to avoid being disappointed

We had a lovely stay in the Wyndham hotel, location was great for the beach and easy walk into Alvor town. Staff were all very friendly will definitely be returning next year

This property is adequate for a comfortable place to sleep, but just adequate. The staff in general are not congenial with the exception of a few of the resteraunt staff who were good. Not the cleanest property, we found lots of stray hairs in our suite all over - but it was a good walking distance to the beach and the town center and relatively quieter than Lagos or Portimão. I guess we paid the price for the convenience of access to those things. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Overall I think this property was overpriced for whats offered. The VIP amenity was a 20% discount on Spa but they didnt even have a spa on premises itt was an outsourced service I didnt bother to use it. When I arrived they had my room set up in two single beds I dont know why beecause it was only me staying there. It took them awhile to change it. I had to call front desk a few times. There were no ice machines and was no option to buy a glass of ice I had to to buy an entire bag of ice and had no place to store it so everything melted in the room.

We spent 5 wonderful days at Wyndham Alvor. The staff is wonderful! The restaurant serves delicious quick meals. The breakfast buffet is definitely worth it! The beach is a quick 3-5 minute walk from the hotel. The beaches are gorgeous and clean with boardwalk access all the way from the Tres Irmaos Bach rocks to the town of Alvor. I highly recommend this as an amazing spot to stay in the Algarve.
