Nice apartment..no staff to help with the facility. Convenient to walk around Portland. It can be confusing to use the FLEXIPASS at first and to make sure you have also signed up for parking if you need it. Next time I would stay close to the water and at a hotel so I have more guest services. The staff was nice when I called to get help but I prefer on-site help. Also, it has a few stairs to get into the apartment building. Overall the building and facility is very clean and nice.

Great for a family

We had a great stay here as a family with young kids. These are really apartments, not like a hotel. We happily traded the daily cleaning and front-desk services of a traditional hotel for the beautiful space we got here! Despite this being a fully electronic check-in experience, everything was seamless and actually probably faster than in-person check in. The apartment unit itself was spacious and beautiful. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. We loved being able to prepare a couple meals “at home” and the food coop is just a short walk away to grab groceries. Parking was simple and right next door (self-parking, no waiting for valet!), and we were thrilled there was an accessible EV charger. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the property for three nights and paid extended hour for checking-out. Unfortunately, the system hotel created didn't work. the cleaning staffs kept knocking our door at 11am (normal check-out time). Even I told them that I paid for the extension hour to check out. They still kept coming back to knock the door multiple times.

This property was really great! It was clean and had everything we needed! The only thing I couldn’t find was a cutting board ;) maybe I missed it. Very nice staff, safe and convenient area. Short bus ride from the airport so we didn’t need a car. We enjoyed our stay! :)

This property was beyond expectation. As long as you are comfortable using the app, check in was super easy and so was getting into our suite. The kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed, and having a living space was a great lift from a normal hotel room.

Property is modern and clean and a great choice if staying more than one night. The 5:00 check in time is inconvenient and the additional rates for early check in are ridiculous. Our room was ready early even though the information given before check in stated early check in was not available, so we appreciated that. Bed was okay comfort-wise, but the pillows are awful. The biggest gripe I had was being woken by a very loud family with screaming kids well before 7:30 am on a day we looked forward to sleeping in. If this matters to you, the walls and floors are not very soundproof. This was a very unpleasant way to start the second day of a two-day trip. On a positive note, the staff was available via text and responded to our questions quickly and professionally. One suggestion-an exterior sign. The loft was hard to find, with only small signage on the entry doors which is not easily visible from the street. Overall we were happy and would stay again.

Fantastic place to stay when visiting Portland. The location can't be beat -- within a couple of blocks to the ferry terminal and Old Town shops and restaurants. The building is next to a police station and my family and I felt very safe. The unit was immaculate, modern, and fully equipped. Onsite parking was a huge bonus, as was the friendly and helpful staff. I would, without hesitation, stay at The Docent's Collection again.

Excellent! Was like staying in a high end apartment in an awsome location. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We brought our dog who was warmly welcomed. Our apt had a washer dryer which we made good use of. Would 100% stay again

This property is beautiful and in the middle of everything. It is pricey but they spare no expense with respect to service and amenities. The kitchen is fully stocked and the bathrooms are beautiful with wonderful products. Their attention to detail and proactive communication around check in and ensuring the stay is going well is great. Highly recommend!
