Not honoring ground floor request with handicap placard even though they confirmed that the request would be honored previously. No one at the desk upon arrival. Staff not helpful. One room key did not work. Have to DRIVE to another address across the river to our room. Then one of the room keys did not work. Property and parking lot not well lit—very dark outside — felt unsafe.

Staff was friendly and gave us a break on the price because the hot tub had slow plumbing Room was clean and nice Free coffee was good Parking lot was much too narrow - I was worried I was going to drive past lot and down hill into swamp Hot tub took 2 hours to fill - unacceptable. Shower pressure was awful Steps down to parking lot sloped downward; each time we went to car I was worried we'd fall. Ice machine was out of ice once I don't think we'll be back.

THERE ARE 2 BUILDING IF YOU MAKE A RESERVATION WITH EXPEDIA THEY GIVE YOU IN A ROOM IN THE OLDEST BUILDING FAR FROM RECEPTION FROM POOL FROM ALL! I FIND NAILS IN THE BATHROOM AND ON THE FLOOR THE ENTRANCE OF THE BUILDING IS EXTREMALY HOT AND OLD THERE IS NOT LIFT KEITH AT THE RECEPTION NOT KIND AND UNFRIENDLY

We stayed one night to do some shopping in the area. The hotel was ok. There was a terrible odor as soon as we walked onto the floor we were on and our room had it as well. The tub needs to be replaced, it was all rusted but the worst part was the black mold around it. Overall for one night it was fine but beyond that probably wouldn’t recommend.

My family (dog included) used this hotel as a one night layover on our trip to another destination in Maine. The stay was exactly what we needed when we needed it. The room was good. The common areas of the hotel (not check in location) could be updated but overall no complaints. This place was very pet friendly.

We travel with two dogs, and we have had three very positive experiences at this Best Western. The beds are comfortable, no WiFi problems, very convenient location, VERY friendly employees, AND the pet-friendly rooms are in a building looking out over a beautiful saltwater marsh.

Upon arrival we were told our accommodation was a very short drive away. Doable, but we would have appreciated knowing before booking. To get to our rooms on the second floor we had to drag our case up two flights in a dark narrow stairwell that was a sauna. It was hot outside and this unventilated, enclosed space was unbearable. We are seniors and had to rest between flights. It is an expensive BW and not worth the money

We booked this hotel because it had a pool. Hoover upon checking in we were informed that we were staying in building that are not on the same property but 5 min away by car and not walkable to the pool. The kids were very disappointed and so were we. This is purely called false advertisement... More importantly our key cards stopped working and when we tried to get back after dinner we were stuck outside the building. We had to call the front desk and wait until someone brought new cards, while holding a crying baby that wanted nothing else than to go to sleep. Other guests told us the same happened to them so brace yourself for similar adventures... Bathroom ameneties were limited. Beds were not properly made. Even with a good price, not worth the money

We had a nice stay at the Best Western. It was very nice to be able to stay somewhere conveniently located with our dog and it was great to have a room on the first floor to easily take him outside.
