Hotel renovated by amateurs. So many defects. Room carpet was not clean. Tried to get another room but the other one was worst. We stayed because it was too much trouble to change at 8:00pm but would not go back.

This is a hotel in transition but ended up being a comfortable place to sleep. This is a place for travelers who expect little but the basics. It is across the street from Goodfire Brewery which is a gem. For the price in the area, it served our purpose and we hope they continue to improve.

The property is under renovations and the thermostat display didn’t work but the AC did. The staff was very nice. Pillows weren't comfortable, the went flat too easy. It is an up and coming place and I think with time it si going to be great!

Although this hotel was falling apart and in desperate need of an update, we actually slept well in comfortable beds and it was quiet.

For the price that we paid for this hotel, it was horrific. The pillows were like throw pillows, the bathroom was dirty and falling apart. The bed looked like someone slept in it before we got into it. The wood planks on a deck outside of the hotel were loose and my wife almost fell twice. The breakfast was so basic and store bought that it was not anything we wanted to eat. For that price, this hotel/motel was really bad.

The Casco Bay Inn was a perfect place to stay for my daughter and I. It was clean, quiet and in the perfect location to enjoy Freeport and was minutes away from coastal points. I would recommend and stay again!

The room was OK, a bit shabby, but passable. There was no toilet paper at all. The phone in the room did not work. We had to go out to ask for some. Then after we checked out, my credit card was charged additional money because they said there were 2 towels missing, so they decided we stole them. We did not steal them. I asked for the Manager, and left messages for him for 3 days, and he never returned the call. I finally called again and the guy at the desk said "OK, OK, I will credit you the money." He did -- but it was a very sleazy experience. I would never recommend this motel.
