I eventually had to leave this property in search of another hotel. This hotel, it left very much to be desired.The room I was in, I ended up being in four different rooms, because one particular staff person kept moving me.And I started getting very sick and asked the front desk if dogs had been in that room.They told me no, that animals are only on the second floor. However that was not true. It turned out that dogs had been in that room and actually had been in 3 of the other rooms. I continued to become desperately sick because of the allergic reaction to the smell of dogs being in the bed, and in the chair that they had in the room. One front desk staff person told me that what I was told was not true.That dogs were allowed on other floors.In fact, on that floor where I was, I heard a dog barking.And I saw another dog walking with its owner on the same floor. It was at that time that I realized that I was indeed having a really, really bad reaction to the fact that there were animals on that floor as well. Also the rooms had a very offensive odor. I told the staff that I was smelling very offensive body odors on and around the bed. I have stayed at various hotels both here and abroad.And this was the worst the worst experience for me at this hotel.

Nothing saying on page that boiler is broken no hot showers pool ice cold hot tub ice cold crack heads everywhere. This place has gone completely to hell just from last year will never be staying at this location again. Not to add messed up my rooms put me in a double bed instead of my king room.

The boiler was broke during our stay. Front desk didn’t inform us of this. Needless to say, the hot tub we looked forward to was luke warm. It was too cold to enjoy it. In the morning, there was no hot water for showers. We had to go down to the front desk to inquire about it. At that time, they said the boiler broke overnight and were unsure when we would have hot water with all the hotel guests needing to shower, as well. House keeping knocked on our door before 9am to clean when check out time wasnt for another 2 hours. It was quite unfortunate for a first stay here it was disappointing.

Very clean and quiet. Optional breakfast which had very good portions. Only flaw i noticed was there were issues with the boiler. Hot water was scarce as they were at full capacity. Other than that i enjoyed my stay.

Everything you would expect while staying in a hotel. and at a great rate, the Clarion had it. Great staff, large rooms and peace and quiet. I will definitely stay there again whenever i'm in Poetland, Maine.
