The first night we were there there was a shooting and police all over the place. There were a homeless people around it all the time the room itself was nice, but it was completely unsafe when you went outside.

The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. Breakfast was pretty good. My really only complaint is really really tiny pillows. Bring your own pillow.

Everything was fine and it should get a 5 star review. The only problem is the homeless people roaming here and there and one of them also entered during breakfast time which was kind if annoying. I also saw one cockroach came out of the basin hole.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Within a one-minute walk of the property, I encountered around 50 homeless individuals. While I understand homelessness is a complex issue, it created an uncomfortable atmosphere around the hotel. To make matters worse, during breakfast, I witnessed some of the homeless entering the dining area and grabbing food meant for guests. This situation made it difficult to enjoy the stay, and the hotel's management seemed unprepared to handle it. I expected better security.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights on a weekend trip to Portland, and we were disappointed from the beginning. The homeless surround the hotel and the gas station right by it making us feel uncomfortable, they incorrectly assigned us our room and we had no idea until they knocked on our door- OPENED IT- and woke us up at 7:45am, 8:30am, and 9:30am on our first morning of our stay saying our room was marked as vacant… you put us there and we got keys to get into the room, let alone opened our door and scared us at the crack of dawn? Very much staff miscommunication on their behalf and didn’t seem super understanding when we confronted them about the disturbance. One of our room keys never worked even after asking them to re-activate it. In the room, everything was wobbly- the toilet, the dresser, you name it. We won’t be staying here again due to the service, location, and quality of the stay.

The hotel itself was great but there is a big crowd of homeless people that congregate right outside the property and there’s a convenience store attached to the property that you can’t even go in unless the person lets you in

The staff was more interested in the game on the tv than he was with helping us check in. The elevator refused to go up for one of the two nights. There is a massive homeless issue in the nearby area to the point where youneed your gusst key just to get inside.

Super friendly front desk staff in the middle of the night was very welcoming. Had a hard time finding the place because the entrance was swarming with people from the nearby homeless encampment. Room was very comfortable though.

Quite nice, but…
In general it was nice. What we really didn’t like is the crowd of homeless or drug addicted people in the area. :( we understand that it is pain point for owners, and they are doing their best to keep their guests safe. Your place is quite good, but Guys, keep fighting.
