Okay but not great

We have stayed at this hotel for this event several times over the years and unfortunately the area has become very blighted. The hotel itself is okay and secure. We checked in on Thursday and left Monday and did not get maid service once. The front desk did not mention that we would need to schedule service so I assumed they would come in at least once.

Good hotel, but be aware of homeless camps

The hotel itself was good. It was clean, staff was friendly, plenty of parking and good breakfast. The surrounding area is not so good. We arrived to find multiple police cars in the area with multiple homeless camps within the adjacent area. The hotel was secured, by not allowng doors to just open. Even during the day you needed the key card to enter the hotel, which made us safe, but also made us consider going somewhere else even thoight we knew we wouldn't be abke to get our money back. At the end, we decided to stay since we were there only for the night as we were all all day long. Overall, hotel was good, just the surrounding area is definitely sketchy.

The room was adequate for my needs which was an overnight stay. However there isn't a whole lot to do around the area and the area is unsafe especially at night. I recommend this hotel only if you are doing an overnight stay as there other hotels both north and south of the area that are better than this when it comes to the overall stay experience.

The hotel itself is great. You know it is an old hotel but very clean and sanitary. However parking lot is kinda scary and a lot of homeless at the area. Hope you can seek help from local officials to get rid of them. Land scaping can also be improved but not a big deal. Cleanliness of lot being affected due to a lot of panhandlers. Over all service of staff and food is great

Great staff, great food, great rooms. Room can use better cleaning/vacuuming under some areas but it was okay. Everything is nice and modern. Only downside is even though parking is free, there are some sketchy cars and homeless people roaming the area parking area. Security needs to be upgraded for safety. Not sure how but a homeless person managed to get access to the breakfast area and go up the elevator. Maybe restrict all access to key card access for all entry points 24/7, inspect all entries to ensure they auto lock after use, and enforce towing for unauthorized vehicles.
