The property itself was extremely well maintained and in a convenient part of downtown. Everything you need is within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful! Rooms were average but essentials are there and everything was exactly as expected. My stay was mired slightly by the protests in the city and the homeless dregs walking about. But the hotel made me feel safe and secure. I would stay here again.

The staff is very kind, and helpful. The area is right in the heart of downtown Portland so it can be gritty and rough at times, noisy and busy BUT I felt pretty safe, it's very walkable, public transportation available all around, and there's great options for dining and entertainment really close by.

Friendly staff, quick check in, room was quiet, spacious bathroom; I wish the coffee/tea offering in the room was a bit better, but it’s just a detail. The location is central, very walkable, the homelessness situation is all around downtown so can’t be avoided, just need to be aware. Perfect location for shows at the Roseland Theater, close to coffee shops and the waterfront too. 10-15 min walk from the train station. Would recommend

Perfect stay!
