We came for Valentines weekend. We reserved a king bed and got two queens which wasn’t ideal. They said they were pretty sold out all year. We had a sign fir fresh towels and never got them. Garbage truck came at 6:20am on a Saturday and woke us up. Airport shuttle beeped at 4:15 on a Sunday morning. Lots of sirens. Poor internet reception in the gym so doing workouts with an app was hard. Just a crowded weekend so know that if you come. Might not return for a personal trip but its by all the big centers so good for work. Very different from the Crowne Plaza in Seattle.

We had booked a ‘high floor’ room, but were put on the 2nd floor. When I enquired about this, I was told it was overbooked and no high floor rooms were available. They did offer a discount for the lower room, but then we discovered it was right above the HVAC or dryer vents and the windows were COVERED in lint. The staff were apologetic, but it was very disappointing.

The convenience of the property location for the Moda Center and the arena are the main reason to stay here. The property could use a deep clean and the abundance of messaging about leaving vehicles at our own risk could be a turn off but we are comfortable in the Portland area and loved the closeness of funky eateries and freeway access.

Great location! Great service! Great meals! Great facility! Very good meals for the money at onsite restaurant. Good pool/spa/fitness facilities. We were in town for an overnight getaway from the Seattle area…visited one of the Dembo trolls, had an excellent meal at the Original Spaghetti Factory/Bancroft location and enjoyed a Trailblazers game! We did the others during the day, but the game was at night and a very easy walk from the hotel. Next morning before leaving had breakfast at the hotel and the food was fantastic. I typically don’t frequent the hotel restaurants, but this one was nice (from an ambiance perspective), has excellent service and very reasonable meals (both flavor and the amount of food) for the money…although of the three (3) meals, my wife noted that her biscuits & gravy could have been better.

Overall a good stay

Very nice, clean facility with friendly and helpful staff. Love the room set up, noise is kept to a minimum. A good selection in the convenience store. The coffee bar in the morning offered good coffee and the foods at the restaurant were also tasty. Areas of potential improvement: the thermostat is centrally controlled and turned off over night the first night dropping my room down to 62. The staff did adjust the temperature after this. There is a "night light" plug that is constantly on right next to the bed and is very bright (this would be good in the bathroom, not next to the bed). The mattress was a bit old and saggy in the middle.
