Great hotel

Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Portland area. Great breakfast. Great happy hour. Great location. Friendly staff. Clean, large rooms. I always stay here.

We've stayed at this Embassy Suites multiple times in the past and have always had an excellent experience. Unfortunately, this time was the exception. Parking was nightmare. The sign at the conference room door in the back that says it is open until 11 pm is incorrect, so we had to trudge arouns the whole building with kids and luggage in the dark. When mentioned at check in, we were told that the entrance didn't even exist (which it certainly does). Then, we got to the room and had to scrub out the bath tub before showing to remove black, climpu debris, soap scum and hair. The bathroom floor was wet. The bed was made, but messy. Just not up to the usual standards. We were disappointed. We will stay here again in hopes that this experience was a fluke, as it is always our go to... just hope this will not be a trend.
