This hotel advised as "pet friendly". My husband, myself and my service animal tried to check in the day before Thanksgiving. Their employee asked for medical documentation regarding my service animal. This is against HIPPA. My husband gave their employee, "Tash", my dog's certification as a Service Animal. Tash took a photo of my dogs certification as a Service Animal and emailed it to his manager named Danny. Danny and Tash refused to accept my Service Dog. I showed Tash my scars from my heart surgery and my spinal surgery. I told him i need my Service Dog and i am being discriminated against due to my disability. I told Tash i wanted to speak to his manager but Tash said he could not give me his managers private number. I wanted to try to resolve this problem with their manager but was refused Dannys contact information. They listed as a pet friendly hotel. I even noted on my reservation that i have a "service animal a 10 pound chihuahua". We were refused to check in with our certified Service Animal the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. We had to leave and search for another hotel. We had to pay extra for a last minute hotel stay for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Then they had the audacity to charge our credit card $67. We have been trying for 3 days to get a refund. Everytime we call to speak to the manager their employee Josh and Tamara tell us we need to talk to the manager Danny. We left several messages for Danny to call us and refund this $67 unauthorized charge.
