Hotel was dirty! Crack pipe left in the stairwell in a step! I called in advance to make sure that the pill and hot tub was working..asked again at check in. I was assured that they definitely were. The hot tub was just that a hot tub ..jets were not working. The pool was milky looking and dirty! I always strip down the beds before I leave. Took off pillow case and there was blood on the pillow! .. Gross

The room was in good condition. It was a little outdated in the pool and hot tub area. Could definitely use some cleaning and maybe some more chairs to sit if you’re not swimming and watching children.

Purposely booked this hotel so kids could use pool. Pool wasn’t open all weekend . They were very disappointed.

The rooms were pretty bare bones no other “seating” other than a computer chair but it was clean and in order. Definitely a no frill kind of place but not terrible. Stefan at the front desk was amazing, bring your own pool towels (or bath towels if it’s more then one person, rooms are only stocked with towels enough for one person) cheap, clean and a place to sleep. They are doing renovations so it might be better down the road

The Long Creek Hotel is a good place to stay. It is close to the Maine Mall and also South Portland. It used to be a Hampton Inn and is being remodeled into a Hilton. Clean rooms, a pool, an exercise room, and a friendly staff. The hotel is being updated and in some places is a little threadbare. Nice staff, decent self service breakfast, and close to things. Reasonable winter rates. A good place to stay.

Grubby sums it up. Room and beds did'nt have a clean feel. Guests on our floor were noisy past quiet hours late into the night. Paper thin walls...heard very embarrassing thongs from the room next door things my 8yr old child shouldn't be hearing. Pool and pool room was gross (not clean), hallways and floors dirty. Tacks and tape holding on to peeling wallpaper all over the hotel. Breakfast was mediocre, eggs tasted like powder. Perhaps the hotel should finish their renovations before having guests. I won't be back to this particular establishment.

The pool and hot tub were not working, the fire alarm went off, no one came to check to see if we were evacuated, the fire department came and still no one said anything to anyone, staff were outside without a care in the world.

The hotel is under renovation, but suited our needs for a one-night stay. Location is excellent, quick access to the mall, jetport, and interstate. The breakfast was lacking, but there was coffee & toast. We rented a King Suite and found it acceptable. The pool area is being renovated but we were able to swim & the water was warm. The staff is extremely pleasant & welcoming. The hotel has nice potential & they are working on it!
