We stayed two nights. The first night we were on the first floor, and it was difficult to sleep due to the noise. We could hear cars starting in the parking lot outside our window, the AC unit whistled when clicking off, and the people in the room next to us were leaving early and letting their room door slam at 6:30 in the morning. The next morning I requested a different room. They kindly obliged and moved us to the 3rd floor. We had a great stay and sleep from then on. My only suggestion would be to reserve the bottom floor for guests staying only one night (those just passing through, or to catch an early flight). Those of us who have committed to multiple nights would appreciate being assigned a more peaceful floor or corner of the hotel.
Overall it was lovely! The staff were friendly, kind, and accommodating. The breakfast was great too. It's in good proximity to Edgefield and there are plenty of good restaurants around there. We will be coming back. Thank you!
