Margaret Poisson, service manager consistently checked to ensure our stay was enjoyable . The valet team extremely efficient & very attentive, especially Aime, and I didnt see the name tag of the other very concerned valet (young man, red hair, beard, smaller stature)who checked our tire...just outstanding. The dining room staff impeccable. The breakfast chef's attention to detail was top tier. Amber one of the servers was a treasure, a true standout as well as Sylvia in dining. All the staff were very prompt, courteous, professional, and informative. It was a stellar experience. It was our first visit to the Waterfront Portland OldPort, Maine property. My husband and I were extremely pleased. I definitely see us returning. Thank you!

A slightly more upscale version of the typical HGI. In my opinion it was overpriced but it was clean and comfortable and easily walkable to all of the tourist areas of Portland.

We had a very nice stay. Comfortable beds (meaning queen beds were not firm) which is important to me. The hot tub had no jets which was a bit disappointing. The staff were very nice and very good!

Way too expensive for what is the equivalent of a M Courtyard inn. Great location, weird carpet in the halls and a hallway bleach smell. Would have been fine at half the price but if you charge a high end price you need to deliver a high end experience.

Few things to start with. 1. The listing stated that breakfast was included, but when asking the hotel staff, they told me my stay did NOT have breakfast included. 2. The valet parking was also not included and I was charged $40 per day of stay for the valet parking. 3. The listing did not specify that there would be an additional charge for a pet stay (we picked this hotel due to convenience and it being pet-friendly) but I was charged $75 per pet 4. I had booked two rooms, and one of the rooms had "hand soap" in the shower and when we notified the front desk that we had "hand soap" rather than "shower gel", his response was "so just use that". These rooms were not cheap by any means. I get that we are paying for convenience, but when you're paying close to $500 per night per room, you'd expect a better answer than "just use that" when you tell them the shower has the wrong soap in it. 5. This one is not the fault of the staff or hotel, but two nights out of four, I had to call the front desk because the room next to us were being so loud. They literally came in at 1-2am, then they were talking so loud that i could literally hear their whole conversation. They were talking so loud, my dog started to bark. I did not want my dog being a nuisance, so I would hold him so he would not bark as much, as to wake other guests.
