Convenient location, limited room service, mini fridge is locked and require separate key. Bathroom does not have fan. A bit noisy in the hallway. Overall the propery is dated and shows in the carpet and the drapes. The blinds are broken and hard to move around. I was jolted up from the loud noise when the heater kicked in the middle of the night. Overall, good value for a few nights but not ideal for long stays.

Hotel Lucia is an old building which I like. The black and white photographs in the hallways and rooms are great. They fit the old building perfectly. The old cameras on display on the first floor are amazing. The retro look and feel of the furniture also fit the building perfectly. The room was quiet and comfortable. Definitely a great place to relax when in Portland.

The entire experience was first rate. The staff was friendly and efficient, the facilities were well maintained and very clean ! The free Pfreem at happy hour was an added bonus. I would love to have had a restaurant and/or bar on premises, but there are many excellent options within a short walk.

Loved the room, loved the property! They offered us complimentary coffee in the morning, a 5 PM complimentary beer, and complimentary tea in the evening. The room was cozy and I loved the interior design. The hotel was conveniently located and easy to walk to places, including Powell’s! The arcade was a fun addition and we got to spend some time there and even made new friends. We didn’t get to use the gym but we checked it out and it was very cool! Highly recommend staying here!

Mostly perfect

Everything was great except the lack of hot water. It was slow to arrive and never really got HOT! A lukewarm shower is NOT a HOT shower... Excellent service and attention to detail. Room was small but adequate. Even had bar soap instead of that excuse for soap they call body wash. Have stayed befor and will stay again.
