Decided to stay a second night. The front desk lady told me that she would just roll it over. When I got back from being out all day they had locked. The door changed the key code and my ID was in the house or in the motel room and they squarted me upstairs to get my ID which I couldn't find right off the gate cuz I didn't know I was going to need it and the they kicked me out and told me to leave. I had to call the 800 number to complain and get a mediator between the two of us to get them to let me stay and bring my ID back downstairs to show them it was me even though I had already been there one night and they know that it's me. The manager was a jerk, the big manager, the dude and the lady at the front desk. She was nice to me after the Hyatt people called but she was straight was a rude chick before then. Wouldn't it wait around? Said she wasn't going to wait around while I find my ID and then just went and call me up 5 minutes later and told me to get out. I did end up getting him to stay because that's crazy but other than that the place is good

Room needed some painting.

The location was good for the purpose of our trip. I felt that the room itself could have used a fresh coat of paint being there were several black scuff marks on some of the walls.

Good place for a room, but not amenities

The room was great. Clean, there was a full-size fridge, dishes, burners to cook on, dishwasher, sink & microwave. I deliberately chose this property because they supposedly had a bar and a restaurant. Unfortunately, the first night we were there, the bar wasn’t open for cocktails, so we purchased a bottle of wine for the room. The front desk clerk said the bar wasn’t open on Monday nights. Oh. New Year’s morning, we were unable to get breakfast at 9:45 a.m., because breakfast area closes at 9:00. On New Year’s morning? Really? The night of 1/1, we went down for dinner and they could not serve a salad and we were told they were closed, anyways (at 7:45 p.m.) we walked down the street to the Portland Sports Bar and Grill which was excellent. The Hyatt staff was professional and their valets were top-notch. Ultimately, if I need a hotel in Portland again, I will look elsewhere.
