I loved this hotel! I stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Portland. The staff were absolutely lovely, always so kind and welcoming. The place itself has an old Victorian feel and was exactly the vibe I was going for. The room was cozy and tidy, and I had no issues with the shared bathroom. I had read several reviews about parking being an issue, yes the lot is very small but they have a second lot that was less than a 2 minute walk and I never had any issues with it. My only word of caution, the stairs are very steep and there are no elevators. I didn’t personally have any issues with this, but if you have mobility issues or if you had a lot of luggage, I could see that being a problem. Overall I loved staying here and would absolutely stay here again.

This was by far the worst room I have ever had the misfortune of staying in and it was expensive to boot! The property is terribly run down and the room itself was beat up, unclean, in disrepair and the bed was so uncomfortable because you could feel every spring poking through your back while trying to sleep. I booked it based on the photos provided since I was looking for something a bit more quaint but what a mistake! The photos were not at all representative of my room and experience. Limited parking as well so we had to park on the street and the neighborhood was sketchy. Do not stay in this place!

Room was vintage but clean and comfortable. Staff helped us with luggage and some extras we asked for. Breakfast is very limited. After having it the first morning, we opted to go out for breakfast in subsequent days. We did not drive. There are nearby bus stops that we did use. Uber was often more practical. Everyone should be aware that there is no elevator and the steps are very steep and narrow. They will be a challenge to anyone with even minor mobility issues.

There is no elevator and the stairs are very steep. I had requested a low floor due to a back injury, and was put on the top floor. Thankfully the front desk was willing to carry my bag. Shared shower was small and unpredictable temperature. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly!

The cooms where clean and well laid out, the staff was very nice, we had an early morning that at most morning would have ment missing breakfast but they set up a little earlier so we was still able to grab something on the way out.
