Clean room, staff was friendly, check-in easy. Easy to get to and in a great location to access other parts of Portland. Right next to the MAX station if you’d rather take public transportation.

The outside of the property was scary, especially at night. The room was decent inside. But the morning clerk was very rude and dismissive. I will not be staying there again!

Rooms: Filthy, dated, TV doesn’t work, not all rooms have fridges, loud metro runs practically all night, no lightbulbs in lamps and front desk person said he couldn’t supply any because that was the manager’s call. Staff: Nice and helpful Building: Safe area, on corner of convention center, clean hallway but reeked of cannabis, broken ice machine and elevator.

I've stayed here several times. It appears to be under new management once again. I think this is the second change in less than a year. The elevator did not work during my stay. I noticed more graffiti on the building from my last visit.

Exceptionally price this hotel is well located with a nice view of the city. Under new management it seems that they are trying to take a tired older facade and make improvements (painting, bedding, etc). The management and is extremely helpful and nice trying hard to accommodate their guest. I have stayed there at least five times and will continue to due so.
The view from our room.
