This is a beautiful hotel built with many thoughtful features including French press coffee in the rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we loved having a hotel car available for short trips to downtown/wharf area. The lobby/lounge is elegant yet cozy. Highly recommend.

Its a nice property but the rooms while stylish are not very practical. There are some hangers but no dresser or shelves. Two people staying for 4 days we had to mostly live out of our suitcase. Bedside tables, cool looking but small and impactable. The staff was nice and helpful.

This is a great find! The hotel has a boutique feel with an excellent room. The staff was engaging and helpful. They have a brand new town car available as a complimentary service and made access to the waterfront, restaurants and shopping a breeze!

Great service. Beautiful hotel, room and nice cocktail bar. Dropped a star for noise - the doors are heavy and loud and disturbing in early morning. Especially if cleaning is happening right next to you. It's location near the hospital also means you hear sirens sometimes.

Great hotel in great location

The Longfellow is a great option in Portland--it's quiet, comfortable, clean, and within walking distance of everything. It is not in the Old Port area, which made it more desirable to me, but it's only about a 15 minute walk to downtown and the port area. The service was excellent, and we really enjoyed our stay!

Loved our stay at Longfellow. The amenities were great (highly recommend the spa!) and town car was an added perk we took advantage of. The drinks at the bar were some of the best we had in Portland. We loved the sustainability aspect of the rooms and found the bed to be very comfy. All communication is done via text and we found the responsiveness to be spotty (anywhere from 5 min to the following day). Other than that, we had an excellent stay and will definitely be returning.
