The property was very well maintained and the rooms were very spacious and beds extremely comfortable. Our room had an interesting scent when we first entered but I guess the previous guest had some leftovers that lingered. Overall it was really good property and the parking was convenient as it was just across the street. If you need a spot to many locations in Portland this is a good place.

I don’t like the fact that they don’t have valet parking but it’s still $30. It’s self park. If you have a large vehicle parking is rough. For example Toyota tundra. It doesn’t fit in their normal garage. Also the shower was pretty dirty. The tiles and grout look like they aren’t bleached and were black. The wine social was a nice touch. And the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel. Good location

Hotel staff was friendly and efficient. Hotel is clean. Rooms are updated. Central location for walking. Excellent restaurants and shopping close by. Big clean and nicely tiled shower with no shelf to put anything. Bed was comfortable. Parking is tight for any larger vehicles in that part of town.

I spent a week in Portland for work and this has been the best landing spot I've had in all my visits. The location was convenient to my office, restaurants, shopping, and just about anything needed during my stay. The room was spacious, the bed was fluffy and comfortable, the shower was divine, and having a kitchen in the room was the cherry on top. Highly recommended for a downtown Portland stay.

The Mark Spencer was a great hotel to stay. It is centrally located with a lot of shopping and dining places. Our room was great and spacious. The staff was friendly and professional.
