Love the StayPineapple brand hotels. Hotel Rose in Portland was fantastic. From friendly and helpful check-in staff to the comfort of the room and the location, everything was awesome.

We had a great stay. The room was very clean. The temperature control in the room worked well and the shades for the window kept the light out really well. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with all of our needs. We asked for extra pillows and extra coffee and tea in our room and the staff had no problem with our requests. We had food delivered to us and we didn't have a plastic fork delivered with it. My husband went down to the front desk and the staff member found a fork for him, which was much appreciated. We had our dog with us and they welcomed him and we're so excited to see him every time we went by the front desk. They provided a bed and treats for our dog as well as doggie bags and a water dish. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't open the two nights we were there, so we didn't get to experience dinner in the restaurant. We didn't go down for breakfast either. But the restaurant/bar area looked like a really nice atmosphere, with a fire pit as well.

There was not air conditioning but the windows opened and that was good enough. Rooms were clean. Parking was less expensive than other hotels in the area and easy to get in and out. Staff was fabulous.

My biggest complaint was about the noise. I was in Room 501. There is no window soundproofing and I was facing the river. Trains kept passing through at all hours. Had I not brought ear plugs, there was no way I would have been able to sleep at all. One of the windows (the right) did not open. Bed was comfortable. I appreciated the style and interior decoration of the room. I was one person so it wasn't too small. Clean. Thank you for the free water bottle. Charging amenities available. TV worked though not many channels offered. I didn't feel unsafe walking around the property at night. The outside noise was the biggest complaint.

Everything was perfect. The hotel was beautiful. The beds were so comfortable and the service was great from the hotel staff, the bar staff clearly hated their jobs. But everything else was perfection
