The toilet leaked and the floor was wet. It had a smell of a wet dog, Carpet was dirty and worn. There were cracks in the tub area. I did complain to management, they told me they would send in maintenance, we never saw them. I was not happy, I need to stay somewhere else next tiem.

This place is awful. Mould in the shower, the room smelled like dirty wet dog, there were stains and things stuck to the walls. When we got in the bed, there was clearly broken springs, as you sunk immediately into a giant crevice. When we asked the front desk clerk about restaurants nearby, he said, “I dunno. I’m not from around here.” Huh? Didn’t seem to care in the least. Then we were awoken at 1:30am by guests yelling and laughing right outside in the hallway. The front desk clerk sounded like he was talking with them, but not to ask them to quiet down, but rather, to be part of the conversation. When we called the front desk to complain, no one would answer. I would never recommend this place. Anyone giving it a high rating clearly has very low standards.

Great overall review: The desk clerks were very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. Qualifiers: TV didn't work; the room was noisy (hallway and outside noises). Driveway entrance could have been more clearly marked.

Service good, condition of property bad, but quiet that was nice. Room had a smell when we arrived, turned on fan was gone when we came back from our meal. Carpet had a strange feeling under foot. Bed was clean, sheets supper white and crisp. Bathroom was... not great, second floor and tub drained real slow, toilet was less then sparkling. Staff was nice, and it was quiet, oh pool is closed.

This place should be closed down. I had no clue it was in such for poor condition. Only stayed one night, non-refundable so I had to stay. It was disgusting. I hope there is a Maine license group to check on the mold in this hotel. It literally is disgusting that it is opened. Needs to be torn down or major repairs to everything. Room was damp smelling, and mold was in the bathroom, door was missing latch lock, furniture was in poor condition. Will drive further to stay in better hotel.

It is dated and the pictures shown are totally different from what you find when you arrive. Mattress needed to be replaced, i felt like i was rolling into the center. Bathtub is clogged. Bathroom exhaust fan doesnt work nor the light. Although it made a great night light . The first floor hallway smelt bad, it appeared that homeless people were staying outside in the parking lot. Barbacue smelt great

DO NOT STAY HERE. I cannot recommend this place at ALL. While it's fairly cheap for a motel near a major city, there are better options for a little more money. Tried to enter our room only to find another guest's stuff already in there. Small mistake, should have been the first warning sign though. No elevator, only the bottom floor can be considered "accessible". Whole building smelled musty and stale. All vending machines were broken. **The WORST part of the stay happened after midnight**. Not entirely sure why/how it happened, around one in the morning, several people were in or near the lobby and began banging on several hotel room doors as they screamed to "let them in" and "open the door". This went on for at least fifteen minutes and scared the absolute sh*t out of myself and the people I stayed with (and I'm sure other hotel guests). When I called the front desk out of fear that someone was going to break in and seriously hurt us, they responded that they "didn't see or hear anything" and that what we heard was probably "just some rowdy evening guests". At around two in the morning at this point, scared and angry, my party decided we wouldn't be staying through the rest of our reservation (two more nights). We packed everything, and waited at the clearly deserted front desk for ten minutes to check out. No staff ever showed up to the front desk, so we left the keys there and went to a different hotel. (Most of the staff was helpful/kind!) Refund is TBD.
