Beautiful, renovations were excellent. Bed was extremely comfortable and clean. Bathrooms were prestige, clean and newly renovated the old character with the renovated amenities. Made this a very excellent day.

Had a quick one night stay at The Francis and am so glad we landed there for our only night in Portland. Extremely clean, well decorated, lots of thoughtful touches and a perfect all around vibe! Bed was very comfortable and shower pressure was great! The staff was extremely nice/helpful. Very walkable area right on Congress next to so many cute dining places. If you’re looking for a well-appointed place on a great location with lots of charm, The Francis is it!

Very clean hotel. Exceptionally clean bathroom and nice amenities. The only reason I didn’t give it an overall score of 5/excellent was because there was a lot of noise directly above my first floor room. I heard a lot of footsteps, something like a cart being rolled, and possibly boxes being moved. It was rather constant. It stopped around 11:30 pm. Maybe there’s an employee closet directly above room 003?? Other than this, I loved the hotel.

We were disappointed that what was advertised as “breakfast included” turned out to be a 30% off voucher for a neighborhood cafe. It is a shame to find a business that does not represent themselves honestly and does not respect their customers.
