We have stayed here many times, and it's always lovely. Easy check in, gorgeous lobby, friendly staff, beautiful and tidy room. I love the huge bathtub, always something I look forward to! We are usually attending an event at the Portland Art Museum, so it's the best location for that, but there's plenty of great restaurants around too.

we had an amazing experience here the hotel staff is all very professional and friendly anytime we interacted or just even in passing through the lobby, always greeted us… The restaurant gentlemen staff and 1 lady that I dealt with both for breakfast and dinner our are all very sweet professional, and made the experience Nice.. we will definitely book here again… Other than a leak around the toilet that we found the second day there were no problems at all

Elegant Downtown Hotel with Great Restaurant

Beautifully appointed rooms and the food in the restaurant is excellent. This is a can't miss lovely hotel in downtown Portland. There is also a light rail stop very close which we used after returning a rental car to the airport. The light rail is very user friendly. We just had to tap a credit card and were able to board and ride to downtown for $2.80. This hotel is also a great location. It is very close to the rose garden, Japanese garden and the art museum which were all excellent. The art museum has a small European collection but had work by many masters including Monet and Van Gogh.

Got there check was great went up to the room and needed a shower to get ready for a concert. Luke warm shower. Water was hot in the morning. Only complaint. Other than that everything was outstanding!

Great hotel with classic charm. The staff was the best part. We loved the whiskey bar and the location to shopping and theatres. The bed was a bit uncomfortable and we could hear the music playing outside all night. However, we loved the balcony room, the shower, the amenities, and the decor. We will definite be back.

I stay at this hotel anytime I come to Portland and always will. It is close to the Symphony and terrific restaurants. Breakfast in side the restaurant is meh, but there are a ton of fabulous coffeeshops and brunch places to walk to. Rooms are spacious and clean.
