I thought that we would have a great experience, because I thoroughly researched hotels in the area. I let the staff know ahead of time that we were there because my son had an appointment at OHSU, and I wanted it to be the least stressful experience possible because we were driving from a few hours away. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with complete warmth and support by the front desk staff. I wish I had gotten their names - everyone was fantastic! The staff went above and beyond. It really, really made a difference as a mom, trying to plan and get everything right, to know that were being taken care of. The beds were comfortable, and the room was very clean. The restaurant downstairs, Terrane, was fantastic for breakfast - Stevi was so warm and accomodating, even remembering my son's food allergies. The valet staff was amazing as well, and the app made it easier. We will definitely stay here again and tell others about it as well. I can't quite emphasize enough how fantastic our stay was.

The place was noisy. They did allow me to pay with a card in the restaurant. But when I went to the front desk they should have been able to accommodated me.. I was frustrated I couldn’t sleep because of all the noise.

Very nice hotel!

Excellent staff/service. Very clean. Minimalist-style rooms are in-style now but I do not like them much. I would rather have a chest of drawers for my clothes than a large, blank low table for my suitcase. I also don't need an expansive countertop for one coffeemaker. A larger closet was probably removed to put in that counter. I would rather have a larger closet.

Stayed here the last 2 trips to Portland. The staff is friendly and attentive. The property is clean and quiet. Dining options are within walking distance. Short walk to the MAX to get you around the entire city.
