Would not recommend staying here. Walked into the hotel and immediately did not have a good feeling. Smelled of weed and cigarettes. Stayed in the jail like room for 10 minutes before leaving and staying elsewhere. Do NOT recommend

Fleabag Motel in worst part of Portland
Worst experience of my life. First of all, The hotel has unlocked access to all rooms and is in an extremely dangerous neighborhood. Then once we got to the room the TV didnt work and the man from the front desk stood awkwardly in our room for 30 minutes trying to fix it. In that time we found FLEAS in the bed and had to leave. To make matters even worse, the hotel could not be reached to authorize my refund for this terrible experience. This was supposed to be for my friends birthday and it was ruined. Worst experience ever

The entire building smelled like cigarette smoke and my room had sheets covered in cigarette burns.

The people were so nice and helpful. I would stay here again. It is Old School Portland. If you want something fancy this is not for you. If you need a place that is affordable to rest your head its fine. No frills but i found it comfortable and i felt safe sleeping there.
