When we checked in we found the apartment like it hadn’t been properly cleaned. The kitchen counters looked and smelled as if they had been wiped with a dirty rag, there were dishes still in the dishwasher, there was only 1 toilet paper roll in the bathroom even though our reservation was for 4 days for 3 people. I contacted the property and they said someone would come to clean and drop off more paper the next day and they didn’t. I contacted them again and they said their policy is to only clean every 4 days so I asked them to at least give us more toilet paper. They finally dropped off more on day 3, but they never came to clean the kitchen. The kitchen is also not equipped with any of the basics such as salt / pepper or paper towels. It is managed by a company so it felt very impersonal. The only thing we liked about our stay was the fact that it had a parking spot.

We stayed one night in Porto Portugal at blissful suites. Very easy check in and clean units with adequate towels for all 4 guests. Had a great stay, but they informed us after we checked out, of extra fee’s we had to pay (city tax?) which we should have be charged at check in when we payed in the beginning,we don’t mind paying for these taxes but should have been informed at check in,we were in route to another city when we were inundated with texts and emails in Portuguese and unable to read or understand them, we received 4-5 a day and not being on safe wifi I did not feel comfortable putting my CC information in.When dealing with people from around the world there should be an easy option to have information in the language you understand, this may be something to improve on.It felt a little like we were being scammed on how they presented the un paid 8eur Thank you
