Stunning…. Once you get to the inside, you can drive in to drop your luggage but you’ll know what I mean if you do…. Hope you have backup camera on the vehicle…. Beautiful reception lounge and dining area, fantastic rooftop patio. No parking on site, but a 7 minute walk to parking by the river, and walkable to the historical center to the east…… nice rooms and renovated top to bottom.

Great location! Everything was in walking distance. Staff was very eager to help make reservations for nearby restaurants. Room was clean and nicely designed. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely lovely hotel! Beautifully re-done in last couple of years. Staff was great, lovely dining area. Our only comment about this property is the accessibility. No parking and the taxis would not drop us off in front of hotel due to narrow street. If the hotel calls the taxi for you the taxis will come right to their front door.

Beautiful property but difficult to get to and no parking on site. Very thin alley to get there. Even the taxi drivers were nervous driving it. The room, the terrace and restaurant were top notch. The staff was excellent Beautiful hotel.

Property was beautiful and well kept. Staff service was outstanding. The breakfast was great. Other food we had there was good but overpriced. The hotel is not walkable for people with limited mobility, and unfortunately we have some limitations - didn't realize this before choosing the hotel. The cab drivers called for us by the hotel were excellent.

This was a highlight of our 2 week trip to Portugal - our favourite stay. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and we slept well in the cozy bed. Service was exceptional, courteous, and efficient. Everyone was genuinely friendly and engaging. We enjoyed just walking around local streets, and even explored the city’s historic center by foot. We booked a full day tour in the Douro Valley, which was easily done from the hotel. We met our tour guide just steps away from the lobby. An unforgettable two days in Porto…

Beautiful unusual property with lovely amenities. Close to the river and amazing restaurants. All staff was extremely lovely and helpful. Ana and Marta were very helpful in booking amazing restaurants and our tide to the train station. I highly recommend this property!
