I can not say enough about the Hotel Jaguar. The staff is more than exceptional. The rooms are very clean and complimentary amenities are provided to include a glass of wine or liquor, fruit plate, and cookies. Even the restaurant serves excellent meals. It is a little bit of a walk to city center and the river, but I like that. If someone does not like to walk ubers and cabs are very economical. I definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

Lovely quirky hotel. Room had everything one would need and the bed was very comfortable. Nice shower and selection of fresh fruit was a bonus. Probably the friendliest staff I have ever encountered in a hotel. Breakfast was very good and we had dinner one night in the restaurant which was excellent and good value. The area is quite uninteresting but the metro is about 4 minutes walk away and three stops from the centre. Will definitely return.
