We were very happy with our choice to stay at Hotel Moon & Sun in Porto. From the handwritten welcome letter to the exit cookies, we couldn't have asked for a better stay. The staff was very helpful in dining recommendations. The location was perfect! Would love to stay there again in the future.

Imperious front desk. Room is crazy small and filled with all kinds of things you can hide away, e.g. coffee maker, flower vase, big blanket. Front desk was awful; unhelpful; abrupt. Breakfast was mediocre at best.

Check-in person was okay. Welcome drink was nice gesture. Not a 4 star hotel. Given what’s paid one would expect more. The cleaning staff left the garbage bin in the middle of the room 1 day. Water was only give every other day. 2 people in room they gave 1 washcloth. They did not replace lotion when it was empty Front desk guys not very helpful and quoted double the cost for a taxi and had the wrong pick up time as requested without apology.

The "VIP" rooms were tiny and furniture had to be moved to even plug in a charging cord. The rooms could use some hooks both in bathroom and bedroom as it would help with so little space. Driling holes in the shelf in the shower would be a great idea too so soap etc doesn't sit in a pile of water. Corners of shower were caked with black mildew. Windows couldn't be opened. I cannot recommend.

Cancelled Flight Leads to Mediocre Hotel

Felt tired. Serviceable and convenient location. Rooftop “bar” had no service and looked like a ghost town. Obviously not really being used. Bar in the lounge is cramped and not welcoming. Service was excellent and rooms fine. We booked it only because our flight was cancelled and we knew the area (we had stayed at a hotel just next door, Chic & Basic Gravity Hotel … much bettah).
