Location of hotel and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff was excellent. Very welcoming and our room was cleaned every day. The room we had needed a facelift - the walls were very scuffed up with marks and it was in need of a fresh coat of paint. As well, the safe didn’t work when we checked in although the staff were very prompt to fix this. The bathroom did not offer much privacy.

I absolutely loved my stay at the PortoBay. The hotel room was not large, but it was cozy and very comfortable and very clean! My favorite parts were the extremely comfortable bed and the very cool shower. The room was quiet--I didn't hear any neighbors although I know that I had neighbors on one side. Also, right outside the hotel, in easy walking distance was many interesting sites (like the train station and Bolhau market). And many dining options and shopping near by! Also, the staff at this hotel were ALL wonderful! They were so kind and welcoming. And the hotel restaurant was delicious. Make sure to get the rate with breakfast included because the breakfast spread was also a great variety!

Exceptional Stay at Porto

The hotel met all our expectations. It is conveniently located within a few minutes walk from Ribeira Square. We booked two rooms and the hotel was able to give us rooms that were adjoining which was very convenient. Rooms were modern, quiet and clean.
