When we checked in, we were greeted by Glauber de Freitas. From our check in he commented that it was soon my wife’s birthday. We didn’t think much of this and asked about local dining options that met our dietary requirements. He suggested a great restaurant that we enjoyed very much. This trip was a celebration for my wife. We had a day trip planned for the actual day. When we returned, we found a gluten free cake and chilling sparkling wine in our room. The gesture capped off a perfect day. Glauber left a beautifully handwritten card wishing my wife a happy birthday and reassured us that everything met our dietary restrictions. We forgot that we shared all this information with him, but he didn’t. This gesture made our stay beyond extraordinary.
