The hotel is nice and the accommodations are satisfactory with the exception that the walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING going on in the hallways, rooms above and neighbors on the same floor. Every-time someone closed a door the headboard on my bed shook. The rooms weren’t fancy but satisfactory. Breakfast buffet was satisfactory. Staff was helpful on sites and places to go.

Hotel was clean. Good breakfast. Walking distance to old town. Located on the busy street which is not my best choice if I would know in advance. You have to make reservation for parking an advance and pay for it separately. It was big surprise for us.

The hotel was very conveniently located about 1-1/2 blocks away from the Tridade metro train station, however I didn't take the metro while there because I wanted to explore the city by foot. The hotel was very near the main road where all the shopping/ restaurants/ wine bars were located. It was about a 16 minute walk to the Dom Luis bridge but be prepared to walk many hills back to the hotel. The room itself was very nice and the hotel facilities: gym, dining restaurant, roof top bar were excellent.

It was a safe, quiet place with easy access to downtown via metro. The restaurant was very good also, but the buffet breakfast was a little lacking in choices.
