This inn had so much charm. It is nestled in a beautiful part of Exeter. It's like taking a step back in time in a good way. The bar was nice to unwind and have a drink at the end of a long day. We didn't try the restaurant, but look forwarding to returning in the future.

It’s a beautiful, old building. The AC didn’t work so we had to keep the windows open, which caused a draft that made the doors shudder repeatedly. It was hard to sleep. The continental breakfast was sparse.

Room was clean though showing some signs of wear (peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, door so swollen it wouldn’t close). The property itself is an older one as you might expect in this area. Conveniently located, quiet and reasonably comfortable.
