Dirty and outdated. Hole in bathroom floor cause for health risk. Bed uncomfy and had to sleep in separate beds with partner. No central heating only a fan heater.

Ideal property for us to stay in prior to and returning from France. Decor a little tired but easy check in, friendly staff, and rooms very clean with powerful shower. Also a good breakfast available if required.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were excellent and the bar and dining facilities very good. The room was OK but in need of repair. The window catches were broken as was the mechanical sink plug. But the bed was comfy and the bedding smelled lovely and fresh. Good parking.

Second Green King hotel stayed at and this was by far the better of the two. Lovely room, comfortable and quiet. Great facilities. We are in the restaurant - food was OK a little rushed and restaurant was busy and felt a little cramped but all in all a nice visit and we would return

The room was abit run down dirty carpets rusty radiator the bathroom taps in poor condition drainage in shower very poor floor not clean water stains the fire alarms went off one evening very poor organisation didn't feel safe no phones in room to contact the reception

Staff were friendly but the hotel is very dated and worn out! Really needs a complete refit from artex ceilings to grubby stained carpet. Room door spy hole has been smashed so had to stuff paper in the hole.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Issue dealt with quickly and efficiently. Could do with higher staffing level in the restaurant in the evening. Food could have been hotter, especially at breakfast.

Tired and dated
The room size was bigger than I expected. The general condition 9f the, room was quite poor. Tired carpet, tired furniture. The two electric wall mounted radiators were dented and both did not work. The main light switch which operated the 4 main wall lights would not turn the lights off. So the only way to turn them off was to cut the electric by taking the room key card out of the slot to turn the electric on and off. Overall the quality of the room was very dated and tired. Probably built in the 70,s or 80,s.
