This hotel needs a lot of upgrades. The floors were really nasty. It felt like the carpets haven’t been cleaned in years. It was sticky moist carpet, the bedding the same. The breakfast was inedible. Luckily there was a nice to place to grab coffee and a yummy breakfast near by. A two minute walk called Mama Anna. This hotel will not be a repeat.

The hotel was average with the exception of the breakfast with was good. Between the two doors that go out of the pool area into the main corridor is an air vent. Each time we went to use the pool (all three days of our weekend stay) the pungent smell of freshly burnt marijuana wafted from the vent, it did not matter what time we went there that you could smell it. Being a retired police officer, I know the smell. Not a good environment for kids!

Pro: Friendly staff. Working hot tub. Relatively clean. Daily breakfast. Cons: booked a room for a queen size bed, but was given a full size. The room’s AC barely worked and the shower didn’t drain properly but pooled every time. The hotel had cash-only vending machines but no atm on site. The hot tub needed cleaning and the air in pool room was too hot with no ventilation. The hotel does not have AC in the corridors or main entrance.

We chose this hotel because it was the most affordable near the Portsmouth area. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. During our stay the hotel was having some issues with the ac units in the hotels rooms. But the staff was quick to respond and fix it, and quick to switch our room when it broke a second time. We understand the units are old and we are in a heat wave. The staff was so accommodating and helpful and offered us snacks from the store for our troubles. The pool was nice and large and the hot tub was perfect temperature. Over all it was a nice stay for the price.

Good quality

The hotel was good. Slept very well. Used the hot tub and pool. Breakfast was decent. 10 minutes from downtown Portsmouth. Id stay again.

This property was diagusting. I checked in with my family and has to check out immediately the bed had stains the wall looked like blood stains the smell is was disguising no air circulation at all and the bathroom was nasty. And they still charged me for a night I will fight this because I didn’t stay there I had to leave and rent a near by hotel because of how disgusting it was. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

The pool was too cold for me to swim in. They claim it is heated, but it was cold. The breakfast was disappointing. There wasn’t much to choose from. This was the most expensive motel I stayed at, and it lacked in comparison to others that I spent less on. I would not stay there again.
