Overpricd, expensive valet parking, broken in-room coffee machine, broken ice machine on 2 floors, no coffee or hot water in lobby except in the morning, represented as a Sheraton but not at that standard, inconvenient location.

Very convenient to shopping, restaurants and Music Hall. Very friendly staff including restaurant waitstaff, registration desk and parking valet. Mattress very comfortable. Negatives: the city water smelled and tasted horrible. The shower in our room 447 had low pressure and the toilet had diffficulty flushing. Our friends who stayed elsewhere in the same hotel did not have the plumbing problems other than poor tasting water. Our room had no surfaces on which to place luggage or clothing items other than a large carpeted floor area, one desk chair and a folding luggage stand. Again, our friends had more furniture in their rooms.

The room attendant appeared with the glove I left in the room, just as we we leaving the hotel..with a smile. Also, I received and email an hour later that we had left medications in the room. We will pick them up on our return trip to Portsmouth tomorrow. What fabulous staff

Easy to Downtown Portsmouth. Having to pay for parking. Understand a little extra for valet but honestly - a guest at your hotel shouldn’t have to pay for outside, across the street, parking
