When I booked this property, I entered July 21 to stay 1 night. When I received the confirmation, it stated July 29. No refunds. You, Expedia, screwed me. Needless to say, I didn't stay at Poteau July 28. I reserved a room July 21 when I got there. And it sure as Heck wasn't with Expedia.

No working Pool
I picked this hotel to be able to use the pool each day the pool didn't work the week before I got there and the whole time I was there. I would have picked a better place that had working pool they should take the pool off because you can't use it. I will not go back there.

This was another great stay at Holiday Inn Express in Poteau. We had 7 rooms, and everyone was pleased. Good breakfast.

Sad Stay
The pool and hot tub were in operable. There was no trashcan in the bathroom. We were told to use a bag. There was only 1 toilet tissue roll for the three of us, and it had been used. We did request another one. There was only one package of condiments for our coffee. Not one each, one total. We had to kill a bug in the room. The curtain was falling loose at the top. There was one tiny, and I do mean tiny, bar of dove soap for three adults to use to bathe. There was almost no water pressure in the bathroom sink. When I tried to explain to the lady at the desk upon leaving; she turned the problem around to being my fault. For example, when I mentioned the pool, she commented that there was a sign saying it was not in commission. However, it was difficult to read the sign from Fort Walton Beach, FL, when we made the reservation. I think you get the picture that our stay was not what we had hoped it would be especially for the price that was charged.

The whole reason we booked this property was for the pool and hot tub. When we arrived was told that it was out of order to further notice, but when I called, they said it was open. Once we got in room, there were soda spilled on the wall, no trash bags in the trash cans, not even a fresh toilet paper on the roll. Then also asked for extra pillows and was told there were none. Also, I book a two not stay in my room key doesn’t work half the time. I’m there. I have to get housekeeping to unlock my door after hunting down a housekeeper. I will probably never stay at this hotel again.
